Soft merino wool that has been handwoven into a herringbone pattern and plant dyed in cross colors, just as many of the herringbone weaves from the Viking Age. It is the perfect fabric for truly authentic Viking Age clothes. 

Herringbone weave wool has been found across Viking Age settlements in Scandinavia. Finds have also been made in other Viking settlements, such as York, Hedeby, London and Orkney.
