Vegvisir: An old manuscript declares that "if this sign is carried, one will never lose one's way in storms or bad weather, even when the way is not known".

Ægishjálmur (old norse: helm of awe/helm of terror) is an old magical symbol that induces fear in enemies and protects against abuse of power. It is mentioned in the old sagas, such as in the Völsunga Saga, where the dragon Fafnir wears one between his eyes. Its usage can easily be adapted to modern day usage on a morale patch.
