Durable, woollen waistcoat based on the pieces of clothing from the harbour in Hedeby. It is not known how it was held together, so there are numerous alternatives. We went with the brass button option which results in a stylish fit.
There are theories that the garment could have been a sleeveless waistcoat, but since there are no other evidence of such garments before the 1500s, we've chosen to go with the more plausible theory with sleeves.
